About Me…
Redwood City Family Portrait Photographer.
God has blessed me with many talents, and photography is one of them. It wasn’t a hobby I grew up with or something I naturally gravitated toward early on. In fact, my journey began when I got married at 28. We hired a photographer within our budget through a friend’s referral. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the value of photography—until I saw our wedding photos. To be honest, they were disappointing. But that experience became my turning point. It made me realize that couples deserve beautiful, timeless images that truly tell the story of their special day. From that moment on, I became driven to learn the craft. I educated myself, honed my skills, and committed to becoming a wedding photographer—not just to take photos, but to give back through my time and talent.
As my own family grew, my love for photographing families deepened. Capturing genuine connections sharpened my eye and strengthened my storytelling. Today, I specialize in family portraiture and photograph over 200 families each year, while still taking on a limited number of weddings due to weekend commitments.
Now, let’s get personal.
I’m easygoing and laid-back—I don’t let the little things bother me. I love coffee, cooking, barbecuing, eating good food, entertaining friends and family, celebrating the holidays, RVing and the outdoors. I believe in balancing work, family, and travel, because life is short and moves fast—you have to enjoy it while you can.
When I’m not shooting or editing, I apply another passion of mine: caring for others. My wife and I own and operate Stay at Home Senior Care, a caregiving agency based in Redwood City. With over 20 years of experience and a genuine heart for service, we provide the highest quality of care—something I know firsthand because I’m personally involved every step of the way.
So don’t be shy—say hi, and let’s chat. I’d love to connect.
